Road Rage Shooting Details
Louise Jean Wilson, known as Louise to her family and friends, was shot during a road rage incident in downtown Houston. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. on Pierce Elevated at Louisiana Street. Her father, Daniel Wilson, explained that Louise, her boyfriend, and a friend were on their way to Galveston to watch the sunrise.
The shooter, described as a Black male driving a four-door black car, opened fire on Louise’s vehicle. She tragically lost her life at the scene, while a passenger, also hit by gunfire, was treated and released from a local hospital.
Emotional Plea from Parents
Expressing his grief, Daniel Wilson mentioned, “Somebody with a gun took the life of a beautiful young woman.” The family is devastated and actively seeking information to identify and apprehend the assailant. Louise’s mother, Krista Wilson, hopes that someone with crucial information comes forward, stating, “Finding this person won’t bring my daughter back, but it’s important to get someone like this off the street.”

Louise, a homeschooled teenager, was a hardworking individual. She worked at a café in Whitney and dedicated her time to various volunteer activities. Her parents described her as a real hard worker, a beautiful young woman with her whole life ahead of her.

Louise’s parents plan to meet with the police chief in Houston to seek more clues. A description of the shooter and the vehicle involved has been released, but the investigation is ongoing.
